The Text

A Course in Miracles is a profound spiritual teaching that calls for an awakening to the reality of love and forgiveness. The Course uses poetic language, written in blank verse, that has led many to compare it with the world’s great literature. At the same time, its thought system is intellectually sophisticated and combines spiritual inspiration with deep psychological understanding of such concepts as belief systems and defenses. It is also highly practical, with daily Workbook lessons that provide a step-by-step approach to changing one’s perspective and experience of the world. A Course in Miracles is a universal message of love and forgiveness that calls for the transformation of the entire human experience.
The Workbook

The Workbook is a daily companion to the Text and offers 365 lessons, or "practice exercises," that are designed to help readers apply the teachings of the Course in their lives. The lessons are brief and do not require a lot of time or long practice periods. However, they do challenge readers to question their most deeply held beliefs and perceptions about the world.

A Course in Miracles is a profound and transformational thought system that is both spiritually inspiring and intellectually sophisticated. Its poetic language and use of blank verse have led some to compare it to the great literature of the world.
The Manual for Teachers

A Course in Miracles, also known as ACIM or the Course, is a modern spiritual self-study program that includes a Workbook with 365 daily lessons and a Text detailing its core philosophy. It is a spiritual teaching, not a religion, and it states that "a universal theology is impossible, but a universal experience is."

The workbook's 365 daily exercises provide the practical framework needed to make the theory of the Course meaningful. It is the doing of these exercises that will truly transform your life. Although there are many resources available that will help you understand the Course's theory, none can replace the experience of doing the workbook exercises.

If you are interested in learning more about A Course in Miracles, our group meets every Saturday morning at 9:30 AM at ERUUF.
